Sebastine is an internationally acclaimed make-up artist in the fashion and beauty industry with over 20 years of experience. She has worked with major luxury brands and celebrities both locally and internationally and has been featured in Elle, Glamour, & Cosmopolitan, and many more.

With the birth of her daughter, her planned sabbatical created room for more than just a hands-on parenting approach. Soon, she found that a new creative project was calling. Her love of botanicals, cuisine, and beauty led her to start experimenting with an natural cosmetic line.

With the new slow fashion revolution and lack of sustainable beauty options, Sebastine recognised the need for chemical-free products in the market.

She also grew increasingly conscious of the effects these ingredients had on the earth. After completing multiple courses in skincare formulation, she created Sōji Skincare. Sōji, which means 'clean' in Japanese, embodies the minimalistic approach of wabi-sabi - appreciating and accepting beauty that is imperfect.
