This environmentally friendly soap dish is made by mixing cement and locally sourced sea sand and pouring it into a repurposed plastic food container.  Recycling, up cycling all in one to make this the earth conscious piece of home decor you can't live without.

Sōji is proud of not purchasing and using any silicone moulds in the manufacturing of our staple soap dishes.  Our soap dishes are eco friendly and sustainable.  We use repurposed plastic lids from old food containers and give them a second, third and fourth life by using them as moulds.

Cement is mixed with sea sand sourced from the beaches in and around Cape Town and gives a beautiful terrazzo effect.  This way you can take a bit of Cape Town wherever you go or gift a piece of this wonderful city to loved ones. Each piece is hand poured, sanded and sealed.  Each dish takes 28 days to make.  They are all unique and their imperfections add to their glory.  The design is minimalistic and has a a soft yet masculine feel to them, making them unisex and versatile.   The artisan soap dishes makes for beautiful gifts for clients that appreciate a luxury experience with a clear conscience.

The artisan soap dishes are packaged in a beautiful Sōji branded french calico (cotton) draw string bag. Care guide is included with dishes. Size guide: Small 11x8cm with 2x drainage holes.

Its so simple, yet so beautiful! And works wonderful by keeping the water from accumulating in the dish. Love it!

Stunning! Together with the Lemongrass loofah soap, it is the perfect birthday gift. And it comes beautifully presented.
